Climon friendship is probably my favourite TMI relationship, they’re just so adorable and heart-wrenching and perfect ;____;

Malec - The Bane Chronicles
Magnus had bought a coffeemaker because Alec had consistently seemed mildly distressed by Magnus’s magicking-slash-slightly-stealing cups of coffee and tea from The Mudd Truck. The machine was extra bother, but Magnus was glad he had bought it. Alec had to know the coffeemaker was for him and his delicate moral sensibilities, and Alec seemed to feel a sense of comfort around the machine that he felt about nothing else, making coffee without asking if he could, bringing Magnus a cup when he was working. Everywhere else in Magnus’s loft Alec was still careful, touching things as if he had no right to them, as if he were a guest.
And of course he was a guest. It was only that Magnus had an irrational desire for Alec to feel at home in his loft, as if that would mean something, as if that would give Magnus a claim on Alec or indicate that Alec wanted a claim on him. Magnus supposed that was it. He badly wanted Alec to want to be here, and to be happy when he was here.

HAPPY EARLY VALENTINE’S DAY!
I really hope in the Course of True Love (and first dates) that Raphael and Ragnor are spying on Magnus during the course of the date, sabotaging it, or something because they can. With binoculars, writing down stuff and calling Caterina to complain about it.
"He’s put so much gel in his hair, it’s amazing he doesn’t slide when he walks."
"There’s enough spikes there to put hedgehogs out of business."
"Why is he dating a twelve year old, anyway? That’s disgusting."
"The But Song" The Course of True Love [and First Dates] - Cassandra Clare
“Oh, Jace, that’s it,” said Magnus.
“What?” said Alec.
“I briefly forgot the blond one’s name,” Magnus explained, with a dismissive flick of his fingers.
Alec looked staggered. “Oh. I’m—I’m Alec.”
Think of the wonderful events we could read about:
From Birth to the end of CoHF
- Max being born
- Alec and Isabelle learning about the circle and their parents share in it
- Alec meeting Jace
- Alec discovering he’s is gay
- Alec POV of meeting Magnus and their first dates
- Alec mourning his little…
'I am fighting for a better world for myself and my son,' said the woman called Maryse.
‘I have no interest in the world you want,’ Magnus told her. ‘Or in your doubtless repellent brat, I might add.’
"Dude!" he said. "I’m sorry! Seriously! I didn’t know you were a ninja!"
Oh my god hahaha, I love this book
